HOOP SETTING GAUGE – Imperial and metric
Tapered gauges marked with the extra over ball widths of 1/32″; 1/16″; 3/32″; 1/8″; 5/32″. offer the gauge into the hoop at the level the the ball normally passes through the hoop until it registers against both uprights. Read off the clearance dimension. Adjust hoop width until the gauge registers the correct clearance. Silver or white colours available. Metric version also available. The width dimension is accurate to +/-0.02 mm at 20 °C.
