TARGET SCORE COUNTERS
With the transition to Target Score Advantage GC, Brookwood Croquet have modified the counters to have numbers form 0 to 13 so that they suit Target Scores.
Counters are available in the standard version with just the numbered wheels. The numbers are 0 to 13. Also available, is the deluxe version with a ball colour slider so that the colours can be set. The players name can also be added. The wording on the counters can be one of three options. Lower H’cap/Higher H’cap; Player 1/ Player 2 or Me/Opponent. Gold, Sliver and Rose colours are available.
In additions, The target score system required the plyer to remember their and their opponents Target Score in order to have any idea of how well they are doing during the game. Brookwood Croquet has therefore developed a more sophisticated counter which displays the Target score(in red) as well as the current score(in black). To set the target scores at the start of the game, a button in the centre of the top edge is depressed and the numbers are changed by rotating a cog wheel at the bottom. The red number run from 5 to 13.
All counters have a cord and clip so they can be attached to a players clothing in a visible location.
The Flat Counters have an option to have a slider which indicates the ball colour being played. There are two small windows which show the colours and they change as the slider is moved to any of blue/red; red/blue; green/pink; pink/green.
The flat version comes in a basic colour of silver (£10.00) and two deluxe colours of gold silk (£10.00) or rose pink silk(£10.00). Any of these colours can have a player’s name added by special order for an additional £2.00.
The Slider Option comes in the same colour range and costs an additional £3.00 due to greater complexity and assembly time.
These will have the numbers for target scores.
